It is a mechanical process that propels fine natural crystals on to the skin, then immediately vacuums them away together with the dead skin cells leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.

The treatment helps to improve irregularities on the surface of the skin and to reduce fine lines, pigmentation marks and shallow acne scars.

The process also accelerates the regeneration of new skin cells, stimulates the production of collagen and strengthens elastin; effectively plumping the skin out and revealing fresher, healthier and younger looking skin.

Any slight redness that you may experience depending on the strength of procedure chosen by your qualified Therapist will fade within one to twenty-four hours. A light dusting of Mineral makeup can be applied at the completion of your treatment if you wish.

Are there any precautions or side effects while undergoing a Microdermabrasion procedure?

Please be aware: Microdermabrasion is not recommnded if you have fine, sensitive skin. Waxing is not recommended 2 days prior to or for at least 5days after the treatment.We strongly advise against the use of sunbeds & swimming in heavily chlorinated water for at least 2 weeks after the Diamond Microdermabrasion has been performed.If you have broken capillaries or have active breakout, we would recommend you discuss with your Therapist alternative treatments such as IPL Photorejuvenation, Omnilux or Peels to help strengthen, repair and calm your skin.

How do I care for my skin after a Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion increases microcirculation, bringing nutrients to the skin & greatly improves the appearance of all imperfections. Regular procedures will offer exceptional skin opportunities with an increase in penetration of home care cream & serums by 4-5 times more than skin not treated.
